Last update 2/28/2008 Men’s City Slow Pitch Tournament
I’ve been playing slow pitch softball in Fort Wayne since 1980 and the City Tournament has always been held in city parks. I was able to secure and bring this tournament to our club this year. It will continue to be played here until we no longer want to host it. 24 teams participated in this year’s single elimination tournament with Wildman/Freedom Windows defeating Sportsline Bar and Grill 30-23 in the championship game.
We received rave reviews from all of the teams and are looking forward to make the 2008 tournament bigger and better.
I would like to thank Wrigley Field Bar and Grill for donating the awards and everyone who helped cook the week of the tournament. I would also like to thank “Tiny” for pulling double duty all week
