DUES STRUCTURE According to the By-laws of the Turner Constitution, both husband and wife must belong to Fort Wayne Turners. Parent(s) must belong to Turners in order for children to participate in any event. People joining after January 31 will be given a prorated amount to be paid. Memberships run from January 1 until December 31. Dues must be paid by January 31 each year. Children may be members under their parent’s membership until the age of 21 as long as they are still in school. However, a Junior Membership is available for people 18-21 years of age who are not in school or wish to apply for a Turner Scholarship. National Turners offers a college scholarship, but the child must apply for the Junior Membership when he/she turns 18 in order to apply for the scholarship. Full memberships are as follows: $80 per adult $50 per senior member (must have belonged to Turners 15 years and be at least 60 years old) $50 per Junior membership for people 18-21 $ 0 per Honorary member (members who have been Turners more than 40 years) Current members paying their membership fees before December 31 will pay the following rates: $70 per adult $45 per senior member (must have belonged to Turners 15 years and be at least 60 years old) $45 per Junior membership for people 18-21 $ 0 per Honorary member (members who have been Turners more than 40 years) Turners suspending memberships are requested to contact the Membership Secretary with that information. There will be no charge to reinstate one’s membership at any time in the future if that has been done. Should the Membership Secretary not be notified and reinstatement is requested, there will be a $15 per single or $25 per couple reinstatement fee.
