PRESIDENTS MESSAGE:

Hello to all –

I would like to thank all the volunteers who helped park cars and cook food for Johnny Appleseed. A special thanks to Don & Jan Hayward, Larry & Val Miller who were here morning to evening each day.  Thanks to Mary Lou & Ed Bauer for running the food pavilion & having a record setting year.

Jeff Sordelet  great job on your organization of the parking .

Gymnastics has started and is two weeks under way. We are not to far from Basketball & Fish Fries. Make sure to stop by on Friday nights.

I would also like to thank Kim Burns for going above & beyond by cleaning the stall doors in the ladies restroom. Let’s see if we can keep it this way. With this being said we have some issues in the bathrooms and I would like to express that every member keep an eye out for things out of the ordinary. Don’t be afraid to ask or stop anyone doing something they shouldn’t.

Don forget that District Bowling is Nov 7 & 8 in Cincinnati. Look for sign up sheets at the club & let’s have a large turnout.

DEADLINE FOR NEWSLETTER: The deadline for the Turner Newsletter is Board Meeting night (third Tuesday of the month).  It is our aim to get each month’s newsletter to our membership by the first of the month. Please adhere to this deadline and make the job of doing the Newsletter easier.

Please submit articles for Newsletter on the form we have provided. Scraps of paper and napkins are too easily lost or overlooked. If you submit a full page schedule, results or notices; please do not mark on the back side (we can print a full page and do not need to retype). Want to use club facilities, dinning room, gym, pavilion or softball diamonds; whether it be for a Society function (N/C) or for personal rental (set charges). The dining room is available at no charge to only Turner members for a Funeral dinner for their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, grandparents and children). From the Dues Secretary:

By the 15^th of November you will receive your dues statement for 2010. Deadline for paying dues is January 31, 2010; however, if you pay your dues before January 1, 2010, you will receive a discount.

·         If you are not married, you will pay $70 before January 1 or $80 after January 1.

·         If you are married, you will pay $140 before January 1 or $160 after January 1.

·         If you are an unmarried senior or a junior, you will pay $45 before January 1 or $50 after January 1.

·         If you are a senior couple, you will pay $90 before January 1 or $100 after January 1.
